視覚障害者向けスタイリング同行
リュックスタイルとチャーム選定

都内の古着店を巡り、視覚障害者の方に向けたリュックスタイル用のチャーム・ピンバッジのスタイリング選定を実施いたしました。視覚に制限があるからこそ、「どのように見られているか」を自分では確認しづらいという課題があります。

今回は特に“古着・ヴィンテージ”というカテゴリーからアイテムをチョイスいたしました。すべて一点ものの中古品であるため、テイストがうまく揃うかという点には正直なところ不安もありました。しかし、その分、既製品にはない個性や経年変化の味わいを大切にしながら丁寧に比較検討を重ねました。

結果として、ご本人のこれまでのスタイルやお好みにしっかりとマッチするアイテムを選定することができたことは、大きな収穫でした。

白杖を使用される生活の中で、両手が空くリュックは欠かせない存在です。だからこそ今回は、リュックを前提としたスタイリング設計という視点からアイテムを選定いたしました。

本取り組みでは、

・希少性よりもバッグとの親和性を重視

・高級すぎて浮いてしまうリスクを回避

・実用品としての過度な強度は求めないという整理

・素材がタフすぎず、多少の傷が味になるものの選定

・主張しすぎず、普段のスタイリングに自然に溶け込むバランス

・前回ご購入いただいたメガネとの相性を踏まえたトータル設計

・触覚でも楽しめる形状や立体感の確認

といった観点からご提案を行いました。

繊細すぎるものや極端に高額なものは避けつつ、「自然体でいられること」を軸に比較検討を重ね、無事にご本人のスタイルにフィットするアイテムを選定することができました。

単なる装飾ではなく、日常に寄り添いながら“自分らしさをにじませるパーツ”としての存在。その時間そのものを大切にしています。

視覚障害の有無に関わらず、ファッションを楽しむ権利はすべての人にある。

その想いのもと、今後も継続的に取り組んでまいります。

I visited vintage clothing stores in Tokyo to select styling options for charm pins and badges designed for backpacks, specifically for visually impaired individuals. Precisely because of visual limitations, there is the challenge of finding it difficult to personally confirm “how one is perceived.”

This time, we specifically chose items from the “vintage/secondhand” category. Since all were one-of-a-kind used items, I was honestly concerned about whether the styles would harmonize well. However, precisely because of this, we carefully compared and considered each piece, valuing the unique character and aged charm not found in mass-produced items.

As a result, we were able to select items that perfectly matched the individual's existing style and preferences, which was a significant achievement.

メガネ・サングラス選定

中目黒のアイウェア専門店 WONDEROUS EYEWEAR RESORT 様のご協力のもと、視覚障害者の方に向けたメガネのスタイリング選定を実施いたしました。視覚に制限があるからこそ、「どのように見られているか」を自分では確認しづらいという課題があります。

本取り組みでは、

・骨格や輪郭とのバランス

・肌色や雰囲気に合うフレーム、レンズの配色提案

・ビジネス／日常／フォーマルなどシーン別の印象設計

・触覚によるフレーム形状の確認

・お客様のこれまでのファッションスタイル、好みを尊重しながら、新たな可能性や発見につながる提案

といった観点からご提案を行いました。専門店によるフィッティング技術と商品知識、そしてスタイリングの視点を掛け合わせることで、「見えるためのメガネ」だけでなく、“自分らしさを表現するメガネ”を選ぶ時間を大切にしています。

視覚障害の有無に関わらず、ファッションを楽しむ権利はすべての人にある。

その想いのもと、今後も継続的に取り組んでまいります。

With the cooperation of WONDEROUS EYEWEAR RESORT, an eyewear specialty store in Nakameguro, we selected eyeglass styles for visually impaired individuals. Limited vision can make it difficult for individuals to assess how they are perceived.

This initiative focused on:

- Balance with bone structure and facial features

- Proposing frame and lens color combinations that complement skin tone and personality

- Designing an impression for different occasions, such as business, everyday, or formal wear

- Checking frame shape through touch

- Proposing ideas that foster new possibilities and discoveries while respecting the customer's existing fashion style and preferences

We made proposals based on the following perspectives. By combining the fitting techniques, product knowledge, and styling perspective of a specialist store, we value the time spent selecting not only "glasses that help you see" but also "glasses that express your individuality."

Everyone, regardless of visual impairment, has the right to enjoy fashion.

With that belief in mind, we will continue to work on this initiative.
